I was certainly hoping for better when we decided to try something different and eat here. First off they advertise Hibachi but when you enter, you realize there are no Hibachi tables and everything is cooked in the back. Oh well...I 've seen the show a million times. No big deal. I got a Hibachi dinner (Filet and Scallops) and a Sushi appetizer. The Sushi was pretty good, but when the dinner came out, I was very disappointed. First off the Filet wasn 't. I don 't have a clue what cut of meat that was, but it was NOT filet. It was tough and chewy. Obviously they substituted some cheaper cut of meat. The scallops were rubbery and just not good. They were of good size, but just kind of....well...
I had a great experience during my first visit. The food was delicious, and the service was about what I expected—average. I tried the Sexy Jalapenos, which were phenomenal, the Egg Drop Soup that was pretty good, and the Steak Hibachi. I had requested my steak to be cooked 'Medium Well,' but it came out 'Medium Rare.' While I typically avoid Medium Rare because I don’t like seeing blood, I have to say this steak was absolutely amazing! The only downside to my otherwise wonderful dinner was a cold draft from an open door in the back, likely due to staff receiving a shipment. Nonetheless, I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back.
i have been coming here regularly for the past few years. the food here has been very consistent and i am always amazed by how good the food is. i often get the fire island roll and it is always soo good. i always order the hibachi chicken and it is delicious. i would recommend this place to everyone! I absolutely love this place! The sushi is consistently fresh and delicious. The lunch bento box is simply the best! It comes with plenty of chicken, vegetables, and rice, along with a sushi roll and spring rolls—so tasty! The staff is friendly and kind, and I always schedule my visits to Cartersville so I can eat here. Since moving away, I really miss this place!

Kumo is our favorite place in town! Food is absolutely delicious and the portions are so big we always have leftovers. We try and come here at least once a week!
