There are a lot of options so you won 't have a tough time finding your favorite. Value: Not sure what it cost per plate but overall for 4 of us it was low $90s for 19 plates. Some plates cost more than others so about $3.50 a plate maybe as an average. Overall: We are long time customers and have loved coming here over the years. Today we visit Kura revolving sushi in Irvine. The International Chain first opened in. Japan in 1977. And opened its firstsore in the states 2008. There us usually a wait to get seated. Make sure to sign in at the front desk tablet. We had to wait for half an hour before we got called in. BUT! It was well worth the wait! The sushi was delicious! Kura would be a 5/5 experience if these two things were fixed: requiring a mobile app download to hop on their waitlist (pls stop this trend) and the value to quality/quantity could be improved. The sushi bites with sauces like ponzu, miso, and umami sauces were all eye openingly good; however the nigiri served in the traditional rice fish format felt alarming room temp/warm. The kick from the sauces may have distracted me from the temp of the sushi. I really enjoy the concept of revolving sushi restaurants, and the technology itself is great. I was excited to come here because I 've been to other kura revolving sushi and had a good time. Unfortunately this one just isn 't up to the standards of the other ones I 've been to. We came on a Thursday evening and there wasn 't any line which was good. We were able to be seated immediately. The good thing is that the food and service are quick. We tried over 15 dishes and was able to get a prize which in our case was a dragon ball willed with stickers. The bad is that the sushi was just alright. This was a good casual fun spot for lunch with coworkers. There were 7 of us which was 1 person too many for a booth. The one sitting at the end would end up blocking the robo-server from delivering drinks. Currently, it was $3.65 per plate. You can order all items using the tablet. Some premium items cost more. What I love about Kura is the wraps! Whether it's the spicy tuna, spider or scallop they come out quick and my visit here is complete. The availability of what's going around on the conveyor belt is also good, sometimes lacking though when its lunch time but still good! You can just order whatever you want on the screen if you don't see anything you like. I've come here by myself and with other for lunch and its always a pleasant experience. I absolutely love this place, and they've only improved since my last visit! They have a robot that delivers your drinks, and it’s just adorable. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. I enjoy every visit!

The sushi was served quickly and was quite tasty. The hot dishes were served at the right temperature. I just wish the prices were a bit more affordable.
The food was excellent, and we visited to celebrate our friend Vincenzo's birthday. He had a wonderful time! The servers were also very friendly!
