I placed a takeout order for three regular rolls on a Friday evening. They said it would be ready in 20 minutes, and the food was prepared right on time! Kyoto Sushi has the most responsible COVID-19 measures, including a wooden door plexiglass barrier, a bell to ring upon arrival, a sliding drawer for food pickup, individually sanitized pens, and a dedicated slot for credit card and cash payments. The only drawback was that the rolls were slightly smaller than what I'm used to at Izu in Long Branch, and they charge $0.50 for spicy mayo on the side (which is free at Izu). Overall, the food was fresh and timely, and their COVID prevention plan was excellent.
I love sushi so when I get to try a new place I always jump on it. I ordered the three roll lunch special wrapped in soy paper. The salmon was good. No problems. The shrimp tempura roll in my opinion was wrapped a little too loosely. It was hard to eatwith chopsticks, but the snow crab roll was phenomenal. Finally a place that has a crab roll that wasn't imitation. The onlything I hope is that they open to sit down dining and not just take out.
I enjoyed an incredibly delicious Japanese Hibachi dinner, with the lobster and filet mignon hibachi being the standout dishes. The pork fried rice was also very flavorful. The Kani sushi, negimaki, and shrimp tempura were equally fantastic. I do wish the restaurant had hibachi grills at the tables, as it would have been a fun experience to cook alongside the chefs.
Completely unacceptable. The fish was of poor quality, and the chicken was rubbery and tasted incredibly cheap. I wasted $60 on this experience. I've tried ordering takeout from here since I live nearby, but the level of mismanagement is shocking. I ended up leaving and attempted delivery, but the food was still revolting and inedible.

I thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful Japanese hibachi dinner, especially the lobster and filet mignon. The pork fried rice was outstanding too. Kyoto Sushi offers fantastic hibachi dishes, delicious bento boxes, and top-quality sushi made with fresh ingredients. The menu features a variety of options at reasonable prices, making it a great choice for a satisfying meal.
The staff at Kyoto Sushi were nice and friendly. The sushi tasted great; we shared a plate for two. However, the menu lacked variety and featured simpler rolls.
The restaurant has a stunning atmosphere.
