Many positive reviews of this restaurant convinced me to come back after a first experience a long time ago. The quality of the products served is quite honest and the concept of choosing its wine in the cellar (even if it is not new... See Chez Erwan in Bourdonné is really nice. However, I'm very surprised that almost no comment is referring to the fact that the value-price ratio is a bit unbalanced. There is no à la carte menu, result almost 70€ per head I find this a little excessive for an honest hostel kitchen.
My husband spent two noisy nights in your inn, he's very disappointed. Insufficient phone insulation, we hear the neighbor's shower as if it were ours. A dog barking in the hallways at 10:30, and it's considered normal... Noisy coffee maker in the room hall. Breakfast not at the price, chocolate bread, madeleine under cellophane... No telephone network. Flying WIFI.
Lunch with family and we were delighted from beginning to end: excellent reception, chic modern decoration, a good choice of tasty dishes, well presented, perfectly mastered cuisine. The most: the possibility of choosing our wine in their pretty vaulted cellar. If you are visiting Montfort l'Amaury nearby, do not hesitate to book at the Auberge du Chasseur!
