L Escale Gourmande

Our family group of 7 had a lovely leisurely Sunday lunch here. We asked to eat outside because of the beautiful weather, and with no hassle, the table was laid for us under a large fixed umbrella. Our hosts paid great attention to our needs. We drank the house rose, white and some local cider! We each had 3 courses with the addition of plenty of fresh bread and butter, smoked salmon on brioche, fresh local oysters, main courses of beautiful veal with apple in cider, beef steaks, chicken, steak hache and home made chips all beautifully presented, and VERY tasty! Puddings were squeezed in and also delicious! Luckily we had 2 miles walk home to work off our excesses! Would highly recommend ......
