This is nice neighborhood taco shop. The food is really good if you are looking for simple Mexican food. The menu is mostly based on tacos and burritos. I like their street tacos, they have carne asada, pastor, tripa and others. My mom usually orders a chorizo sope and that is really good. Their carne asada and carnitas burritos and rolled tacos are also very good. I am very critical of Mexican food, so for me the food is just okay, especially the carne asada, but it hits the spot when you are hungry and need some quick food. The service, on the other hand is excellent. The owner is always very friendly and provides excellent service, and to me that counts a lot, so I go back frequently and...
I usually dont give bad reviews but I think there should be a consistency. I went today for the second time after covid. I purchased fish tacos when they were $1 a taco before covid. I thought 2 for $2.50 not bad, but they are not the same tacos as before covid. A little smaller, but still not bad. My first visit the tacos tasted great but today's visit the tacos tasted really fishy. I know when fish taste fishy its old fish. It would be better to throw the fish out then sell it to there customers and risk having there customers get ill. Which could cause closer of your business.
I stopped by La Baja for a quick snack, and I couldn't have picked a better time. I forgot it was Tuesday, which means the fish tacos are two for $2.50—such a deal! They were the perfect street taco size, filled with fresh fish, crisp veggies, generous pieces, and delicious salsa. Don’t forget to squeeze some lime on top! Two tacos were just right to hold me over until dinner. It’s a charming local spot with a nice atmosphere, both inside and out. Great prices and fantastic service make it a must-visit for a quick bite!
This is a fantastic little restaurant that serves excellent seafood, especially in a neighborhood that lacks many quality dining options. My Sinaloan wife is quite particular about seafood, and she absolutely adores the shrimp tacos and shrimp cocktail. As for me, I enjoy everything on the menu, particularly the fish tacos and chicken taquitos. We usually get takeout from here at least once a week.
I've been visiting this restaurant since it opened, and Angelica, the owner, feels like family to me. The food is outstanding, and the staff consistently make you feel welcome. Personally, I always order the $7.99 Hardshell Taco Combo with beans and rice, along with a can of soda. It's truly a hidden gem in the San Gabriel Valley. Give it a try—you'll love it!

Clean and nice atmosphere, great local eat. Their asada tacos are great and they have good drink options. New sale options for Taco Tuesday, albondigas on Wednesdays, and hamburger combo on Thursdays. Closed Mondays but otherwise open when you need it.
I ordered there chicken soup and it was so good and the lady that takes your order is really nice. My friend had the hard tacos and loved it. Honest people with good home style cooking.
