the restaurant is located in the old building of the france bank on the place of the republic. the interior of the building alone is worth a visit. The place is huge. in good weather ask the terrace. but the one is adjacent to another restaurant. The combination can be noisy. The dishes are conventional. Service is good. but the list of champagne in all formats is impressive. more than 35 different champagnes available in glass. an excellent address. there is also a variation of three champagnes for 21 euros per person. I recommend it. the last is the moet and candle rosé that is not available in the glass. It's worth the detour.
We went to the bank for the second time this year. the first time we went there, we also ate there, which we saved this time after it was not terrible, slightly below the average the first time. We visited the bank to have a drink at the end of the evening. There wasn't much going on, the bartender was slightly annoyed, we didn't feel welcome, he seemed apathetic all around. It's a shame, because the bank is a very nice champagne bar and well furnished. the toilets, located in the old cellar, are particularly beautiful. We won't visit the bank anymore.
Most of the food was good but not great and a little overpriced. The creme brulee however, was excellent. The service was pretty poor and rude, even for France. We were just trying to inform her of a tree nut allergy and the server seemed to be discussed to have to deal with us.
The place is really nice. damage to noise when there's a world in the room but there are smaller lounges in the back. it is a current decor and a kitchen that doesn't want to be too simplistic with neat presentation. a pleasant place where we went several times and returned.

old bank of france reopened in restaurant bar. We enjoyed a glass of champagne on the terrace.
