We love this little gem of a restaurant which is situated in the village of Fonsalia, nestled between San Juan and Alcala. On this occasion we opted for starters of spicy sausage and grilled cheese, followed by pork chop and goat stew and accompanied by canarian potatoes and a mixed salad. Both meats were cooked to perfection as always (the chop was succulent and the goat meat so tender that it fell away from the bone at the slightest touch). In addition to this we had two beers, two waters, two coffees and a portion of triple chocolate cake, all for just €37....We love the home from home atmosphere here and although it can get noisy at busy times this only adds to it's charm.
Lugar típico canario, muy acogedor y limpio, comida excelente, pollo a la brasa y servicio maravilloso, rápido y perfecto, personal muy amable, precios muy bajos... si tengo que encontrarle un defecto es la cantidad de gente que habla en voz baja. voz ya que es el lugar no muy grande amplifica el ruido pero no es un problema tan grave lo puedes tolerar porque vale la pena... recomendado
Great location close to beach and marina. Had the menu of the day good food great value. Service not so good saw people leaving and going to restaurant nearby. Alicante great citywide be back, will go to la barerra again !
a place of the most welcoming, the super familiar atmosphere, the totally delicious and very good quality food. I would go to lunch with my family thousands of times, plus the waitress and other very polite staff.
the best goat meat on the island and not to mention the desserts that are homemade and the best I have ever tried. partly the waitress that is super nice we always repeat excellence in general and super cheap
