This local and friendly restaurant was a much appreciated find in an otherwise nondescript part of town. It is relatively simple but welcoming in a genuine, honest, neighbourhood, French way. A good sign: it is clearly popular with local people. The menu provides a good range of dishes which appear in various forms as part of set menus. This can seem confusing at first but in the end we simply chose the dishes we wanted and left it to the helpful host to work out how they might fit into one of the set price combinations. This was the closest restaurant to our hotel! I went there with 2 friends and we had excellent food, excellent service and an excellent evening. For starters we had foie gras and St Jacques. Main course was entrecote for me and cote de boeuf for my friends. The boss recommended an excellent local wine to accompany it. To finish we all had creme brulee. It wasn't cheap but it was good value.
Very nice place and very superior service quality. It's a little expensive but if you want to spend a little more money for good food, decent service and a good location this is the place. The service was fast and efficient the mains where good and the drinks where also good. Highly recommend.
Stopped by since it was very cold outside and we ordered a coffee and two tea, which we considered a bit pricey! Maybe there are cheaper cafes nearby. However, the place is nice and poshy! It is situated along the road in front of the river, close to Quinconces square.

The service and the food is outstanding.This isn't a trendy restaurant but price value very good.A lot of people who works nearby go there.Thats a very good sign.He is still the guy who works with his hart.

waitress and waitress already good. excellent dishes and presentations at the meeting. very good time on the terrace.
excellent food; The calf almost had to fall! waitresses are very effective and smiling again thanks to this meal.
