Visiting from Tampa and had the taste for some Haitian cuisine, so my girlfriend recommended this restaurant. When I say good food, I mean gooood food, the portion was well worth, we both had the whole fried fish which was bursting with flavor and that sauce that was on the side along with the pikliz was lip smacking good. Bernadette and her daughters especially Bianca was very sweet and hospitable. Definitely would recommend this restaurant if you enjoy some good ole authentic Haitian cuisine. Don’t forget to grab a pecos/cocoye, it’s like their version of a Italian ice. I had the passion fruit flavor which scored a home run! Visit them if you are ever in the south Florida area!!
Today was my first time there. I asked for a griot plate. The server fixed the plate. Then I asked for stewed turkey and she said “damn, why you ain’t tell me that before!” I apologized and said it was my first time there and I didn’t know there was a certain way to order. She proceeded to have a negative disposition for the rest of our interactions. I thanked her after I received my meals and paid for them and she didn’t say you’re welcome until I was almost at the door. I’m not even sure if that’s what she said. The food was great! The server with the raggedy lashes and bad attitude needs to go.
Yummy! We were searching for the best Haitian restaurant in town and I’m pretty sure that we found it! Authentic Haitian at its best, La Belle Jacmelienne Cafe had a wondeful selection of authentic entrees with all the correct fixings including , picklese, plantains, and rice/beans or Haitian macaroni and cheese. The food was beautifully presented and tasted delightful. Next time I will ask for more sauce to eat with my entree. The fish and lambi (conch) were our favorites! Be sure to go and go early, when we left, the restaurant was packed! Families are welcome!
I use to love this restaurant before The Hungry Black Man’s review. What I’m noticing is the customer service has completely diminished. The clientele increased and the need for value and great service declined. The last time I visited the woman taking my order was so blatantly rude, that I left. Great food is wonderful. Appreciation and value of your customers is most important. If you can’t deal and speak with the community you serve with respect, then you really have no place in the industry. Stay humble. My first time visiting and I must say customer service was on point! They made us feel welcomed and valued! Most Haitian restaurants aren’t as friendly but this one here was exceptional! Special thanks to the two young ladies that catered to us Bernadette and Michelle(sorry if I misspelled your names )I had a turkey and brought a fried goat for my friend and food was great! It was an absolute pleasure coming here for lunch. We went down to Hard Rock Stadium and on our way home wanted some Haitian food. Everything about this restaurant was amazing, the esthetic was great, the service was top notch, and the food was next level. If you are ever in the area this is the Haitian restaurant that needs to be on your bucket list. Thank you guys for the amazing hospitality and for sending us home like stuffed pigs.
They were 5 mins from closing when I came in and they made us fresh griot, gave us various gravies to try, and were very friendly. Very clean, cutest decor, and best of all authentic Haitian food. Best Haitian spot in Miramar ?? coming back.
There are a few other restaurants in the area, what sets this one apart is the fact that everything is not FRIED….. ? The food isn’t restaurant quality but home quality. The ambiance and aesthetics cannot go unnoticed! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
