Kleines, unabhängiges Berghotel mit 5 Zimmern. Der Stil des Hotels ist einfach und ländlich, die Sauberkeit jedoch vorbildlich. Besonders beeindruckend ist die Liebe und der Einsatz des Paares, das das Hotel führt, um den Gästen ein perfektes Erlebnis zu bieten. Es gibt hervorragende hausgemachte Abendessen sowie ein köstliches Frühstück mit regionalen Produkten. Außerdem sind sie sehr hilfsbereit und bemüht, gemeinsam mit den Gästen den besten Plan zu erstellen, um die Zeit in Ayer optimal zu nutzen. Die zurzeit verdienten 5,0 Sterne sind absolut gerechtfertigt!
Emily and John give a warm welcome at La Bergère and it feels like home from home. The catering is far beyond expectations and very generous. Home made cake at afternoon tea is a treat and there are pre dinner drinks and canapés as well as a three course dinner with wine. I like coming here so much that I have stayed three years in a row and on two of those years came for two separate weeks. There are lovely views of the mountains through the living room windows and a bookshelf of inspiring adventure books.
We had a wonderful snowy week staying with Emily and John in Christmas 2024. The house is lovely, comfortable, and highly relaxing. Each morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast (shout out for the amazing granola), and each evening started with a much-appreciated aperitif followed by a yummy homemade dinner. We enjoyed great talks with other guests and plenty of outdoor fun (skiing, snow rackets, sledging), and we left with full bellies, red cheeks and fond memories. Thank you, we'll be back!

Wunderschönes, kleines und gemütliches Hotel, in dem ich mich sofort wohlgefühlt habe. Das Frühstück ist zwar überschaubar, aber vollkommen ausreichend. Jeden Morgen gab es frischen Obstsalat. Auf Wunsch werden frische Eierspeisen oder Pfannkuchen zubereitet. Das Abendessen war ebenfalls jedes Mal sehr lecker, abwechslungsreich und mit viel Liebe gemacht.
Wir haben drei Nächte im Hotel La Bergère verbracht und können es wärmstens empfehlen. Emily und John sind äußerst freundliche Gastgeber. Das Zimmer war modern eingerichtet und hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht und waren begeistert. Das Essen war jeden Abend ein echtes Highlight mit kreativen und köstlichen Gerichten!
You’re in for a treat, this is a special place. Emily and John are brilliant hosts and made us so welcome. The skiing was amazing, food and chalet superb, loved this secret valley we will be back.
