The fondue is the best I ever had and I live in Switzerland! My husband comes here regularly and he gets regular and feels very comfortable here. Welcome and service were very friendly and we were served quickly. This is a very family-friendly restaurant where couples easily mix. There are beautiful features like ketchup in a jam and table extensions for odd numbers. The boss doesn't miss a beat and is always on top.
Dinner 2 nights in a row. Very friendly staff, fast service and delicious food. Fully filled salads, local meat dishes, boeuff de tartare and raclette. All delicious, large portions and served with a smile. Appropriate and average prices (especially compared to the overrated Megève restaurants, on a 5-minute drive).
We ate at this restaurant this week, and had an acceptable Plat de Jour, and good value for money but found the staff quite unfriendly, one of which I don't think cracked a smile once.This alone makes the restaurant appear unfriendly, and is unlikely we will go back, even if the food was good.
We just wanted a desert and coffee and were offered a table in an ante room on our own. Felt very not wanted.The wrong attitude because we could have eaten there the following night. A fine example of a busy French brasserie. Efficient service with really good basic food. Try the lemon meringue tart. Excellent quality/price ratio. May appear unfriendly to those who are unfamiliar with French brasseries.

As others have said, not a particularly welcoming place and the food isn't really even up to being average. Les Sapins is better/cheaper and better still is the place next door, Les trappeurs.

We ate here with grandparents and the children and the staff were friendly and food very good. Nothing special but perfect for small group and healthy French food.
