We walked past this restaurant many nights and it always looked busy so we decided to give it a go. Service initially was slow but it did improve slightly. We ordered lasagne which should have included beef , a total veg lasagne arrived. We told the waiter and they noted it was an error and would change them. 15 mins later a beef lasagne arrived however it tastes terrible and had zero beef. Kids meals were tasteless Overall they need a new chef and I note other reviews suggest the same. Waiting staff saw that we hadn't ate the meal but spoke to each other in Spanish and laughed at us. I decided that I would make the manager aware of the poor food and all he did was have an argument with me....
We visited here on our last night in Cala D'or, having looked on trip advisor for recommendations we wanted to look for ourselves as well. It was a busy night , great atmosphere among the restaurant but we decided on La Bodega. The staff were friendly and attentive even when they were rushed off their feet. We ordered several tapas and sat and did some people watching over our sangria. The food arrived quickly and what a feast it was, steak, chorizo , prawns it went on and on. Piping hot and so much of it. Great Tapas, great staff definitely worth a visit
Visited a couple of nights ago. Service was rushed and not overly friendly, felt like we were putting them out as they wanted to close, despite it only being 9.45. Food was ok but every single dish was absolutely covered in oregano! Literally every dish covered in Dried oregano so it was so over powering. Im sure without all the unnecessary seasoning it was probably decent food, just hard to tell. Wouldn't personally visit again.
We were there in early April so the resort was still very quiet but found La Bodega whilst wandering the shopping area. We sat outside in the sunshine and ordered lunch and a drink food was excellent and very good value 25euros for lunch 2 drinks for 2 of us. We went back another once again for lunch and it was great. Stopped here for some Tapas and a beer. The tapas was OK but the beer seemed a bit tasteless weak. However the visit was let down by the waiter who was very abrupt and only wanted to spend the bare minimum of time at the table, even though it was not busy.
We went to La Bodega tonight , we were all hungry and we were not disappointed. Food was excellent service was too and for a family of 6 it came out at €77 including a fair few beers. I will definitely go there again.
Located in the busy street with various restaurants, the eye catching decor was enticing . The tapas were good, especially the iberico pork. Prices were reasonable n the place was child friendly.

Night time 3 coarse menu is well worth a try , food is excellent and with a bottle of wine between 2 for €18 is a bargain for the great quality food you eat
