Family meal to celebrate a birthday. We opted for the special truffle menu. At 39€ it might be considered a little expensive, but it was well worth the money. A delicious meal which we all enjoyed. I had no complaints whatsoever about any of the dishes I was served. Fantastic food. I also wanted to mention the service...... which was as excellent as the food. The staff were very friendly, and created a friendly, light atmosphere. They created just the right balance of professionalism and friendliness.It really did make for a perfect meal.
In La Bodega de Chema we had one of the most delectable 'cabrito asado ' roasted goatling) ever tried, a dish with a strong regional identity here cooked to perfection. Service was extremely attentive, affectionate, willing, happy, generous. A gastronomical experience not to be missed in the Zaragoza area. We still dream with the tender cabrito served in a large portion full of flavor.
Best place in Zaragoza! You definitely need to take the special set menu. For 39 euros you get water, bread, 3 starters (not small portions at all), a main and a bottle of wine every two people. The food is delicious and old-ish style, but with a touch of class and modernity. Every dish is really well thought and presented, and the taste is always amazing.
A definite must while you are in Zaragoza. From the friendly welcome to the last drop of complimentary Orujo the whole experience was fantastic. We tried the Artichokes with prawns , the Bacalao and the Cabrito Asado , All incredible. Thank you so much to all the staff for making this a memorable lunch.
