I took the time to read many of the previous reviews before I wrote this and I am glad to know that I am not alone. Short background - I am 68, female, retired chef and restore. I have traveled and eaten in the last 45 years and have 3 restaurants that are responsible for the employees and food quality is very important in our trade. this place takes the absolute keks for poorly cooked eating served by workers who only want to hear how wonderful their meal is or they can literally see how they avoid them why? because if you get the bill, there is a mandatory 10% service fee not specified on the menu) so why everyone should take care, especially since they do not get the top! we were in puert...

we, where a family of 6 people, we ordered spits and chateaubriand and a bark tenderloin some of the expensive dishes they have. and while the meat was in order, the amount of meat and especially the kartoffels / chips sauce ridiculously was small! I ordered more... sauce and kartoffel because nobody, not even the little teens would be full of the crowd. on the bill it said extra soße extra kartoffeln I told the waiter that it wasn't fair, the family was here for 34 years, and the amounts were just stupid, but the waiter wasn't interested, he said I ordered extra and I had to pay. and that the restaurant had changed the owners and employees years ago. We were looking forward to going here from reviews , we were seated and the waitress was helpful ordered starters which were basic had ordered chateaubriand, well done which came out rare to medium so we sent it back then it came back sliced and...fried no service cold sides !! Received no service from staff after that .. they avoided us,we waited 15 mins before someone came to the table .. we asked for bill were not offered dessert!! When I told staff we were not happy with meal or service they just gave us the bill ... needless to say we just left, while some of the staff seemed pleasant we felt like a number there they just wanted our money... service very poor and food was tasteless not...

We visited La Bolera twice during our recent stay in Puerto Rico. The first time was just for a drink and to watch the Elvis tribute. He looked good, spoke like Elvis, moved like Elvis, but it's a pity his singing voice was so flat!...But enjoyable nevertheless. We went back a few days later for the Michael Jackson tribute no problem with his voice this time, as he only mimed. But he had all the dance moves. The service was fine, the food good. La comida era exquisita y fresca, pedimos variedad para compartir. La masa de pizza era artesanos que realmente nos gustaba. Carne fresca y tierna. Especialmente el postre son el hogar de lo bueno que estábamos repitiendo, recomendando brownie y pastel de queso. Tuvimos suerte esa noche había un programa de acrobacias, disfrutamos de mucha comida y espectáculo. Los personales están muy atentos ya que fue la primera vez que íbamos a explicar que iba a haber un espectáculo y poner una mesa con buena vista al espectáculo para los niños.

we eat here on each of our previous trips on the island, but we will never return. the lamb was unusable and when we complained about the very overcooked, dry and hard meat, the waiter assured us that it was perfect. nothing offered there, and we were fully charged for a meal that was too heavy to eat. what happened to this restaurant that used to be a nice experience?

Tiene un restaurante desde donde los comensales ven los cantantes y a la gente bailar. Nosotros íbamos todas las noches a bailar y tomar algo en las mesas al lado de los cantantes. Es fantástico. Tienen todos los días música en vivo con magníficos cantantes.
