La Bonne Pate - Tisch reservieren

After having starved for 2 days due to closed restaurants in Macau Sunday and Monday, I planned to go to the french restaurant Petit Verdot on the Tuesday. However, due to laziness or too much money, this was also closed on the Tuesday night. And I am so happy that it was, cause otherwise I had not had the chance to enjoy a stellar pizza at La Bonne Pate! The menu is really interesting the combination of Italian, French and some Spanish ingredients are extraordinary. I went for a Cannibal spicy, with several types of meat, great cheese and an egg. When we visited the restaurant arranged an outdoor concert just across the narrow road in front of the church so there was no service inside and no vacant tables outside. Takeaway then. Busy place, friendly staff and good pizza. Then again, with a proper pizza oven, what can go wrong? It's like a chef once told me once; Pizza is a lot like sex. When it's good, it's really good. When it's bad, it's still pretty good.

The menu is simple (pretty much just pizza! but what they do, they do amazingly. Great food on a beautiful square by a pretty church. Good wine (obviously! and good beer too (even a decent bottled IPA .
