This restaurant has been a favorite for 20 years, open from mid-September to early June. They offer a delightful menu featuring fresh and sweet options, and even provide a few shaded outdoor tables for a pleasant dining experience. Be sure to ask for a side of creamy dill dressing to dip their cut baguette into—it's a must-try! The cash-only policy has been in place for as long as I can remember.
I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of food for the price! I ordered the creamy tomato bisque along with a half baguette. The small soup portion was comparable to a medium size at Safeway, and the half baguette was just the right size to fit in a lunch-sized paper bag. While the soup wasn’t my favorite—it left a bit of a film in my mouth—it’s hard to beat the overall value for the price!
Their croissants are always so delicious and made well and always warm. The pesto cheese sandwich is always a go to! I am sad however that they got rid of the Spicy Thai soup on doordash. Please bring it back!!
The sandwiches are always spot on! I always order the California turkey club, while my friend gets the turkey sandwich on a baguette. They really need to have the baguette and dill sauce!
