I had an evening birthday dinner function for family and friends at La Boucherie on 18.09.2022, a party of 20 adults and 4 children. The three course menu was comprehensive and accommodating, catering for those with special dietary requirements. The wine and bar services matched the fine dining commitment of the restaurant. Staff had thorough knowledge of their assigned roles, facilities, extensive food and beverage menus. Their impeccable courtesy and friendly assistance is comparable with the finest, established European dining venues. I am not much of a knower when it comes to the fine kitchen, so if the missus has booked a restaurant like la boucherie, I was not really sure what to expect. Last night was the best scotchfilet of my life and some nice cold imported beer. my friend is the foodman and got what she claims "the best scallops of her life" and fresh ice-cold oysters with surprisingly cheap French wine. service was top notch and eat fantastic 10/10 for the hills.
What an experience, this local French restaurant holds dining to a new standard. The staff staff are always so incredibly friendly always greeted with a smile and will go above and beyond to make you feel at home. However, I do not think I can properly do justice for the spectacular dishes (the steak tartare in particular is simply mouth watering) you must just try it for yourself. This is the next big thing in The Hills!
we have made an early booking for 3 as this was the only available session. this worked well, but noise level was very high. there was a guess that the riesling we ordered was correct, but we found in the review (before the opening) that there was actually a red wine from the same. when we noticed the error, he was quickly corrected by waitstaff. the 82nd birthday party was very well recognized thanks Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Something a little different in the area being French. Meals aren't the cheapest but food was tasty and all the staff must eat a happy pill before starting their shift. Will have to try a steak next time as they said they are a steak house too. Will try again. Small public carpark a few shops down or worst case could park in the main shopping centre not far away too.
What a 'hidden ' gem. I love in the Parramatta area and have tended to go to Sydney for a special occasion, or romantic venues. I didn 't realise that the perfect option was so close by! The food and wine was excellent. Staff were attentive, polite and welcoming. If you have a special occasion or just fancy some delicious French cuisine, look no further.
Cute Little restaurant with great service. Can't fault anything. Although on the pricey side food did not disappoint. Will go again.
