The boss is friendly but we were disappointed by the lack of information on the course of the meal. Too bad that the quality of the wine is not at the height of the region, it is imposed, without a proposal (red, red or white). The meal was simple but rather good. Beer was past and tasted like cider. The dessert does not match the menu displayed. The bread was dry but above all we paid 95 euros for 4 adults and 1 child of 3 years for a menu at 15 euros. To avoid with strollers.
We stopped a little by chance in this restaurant. But what a great surprise!!! Restaurants like you don't do anymore: A unique dish (no à la carte menu) excellent! A beautiful discovery in a charming village! We stopped there at random from our bike path and were not disappointed: menu at 15 euros with quality and local products, cooked with simplicity but delicious! Special mention for melting and crunchy potatoes And then especially, patronage of a very great kindness, to small care and very helpful. Extremely disappointed.... even if this is a unique menu it would have been good.... Entry: non-cooked rice salad, hard to chew and rice/ cucumbers in cold accompaniment, and what also spoiled us, rillette jar that passes from table to table... in this pandemic period????? Boss alone in command, but she manages all the service of a master's hand. Not only is the reception impeccable, but the dishes are very good and hearty. Top quality ratio. I highly recommend this establishment if you pass through and visit the castle of Chenonceau which is really close.
Stopd there in search of a stop to eat, we had the very good surprise to discover Carole and her unique menu! Carole combines simplicity, greediness and generosity for a convivial and relaxing moment in the shade of her terrace. I highly recommend!
