I really need to share with you... it was July 13 at night. great rendezvous for saint amand with concert, and fireworks ( magnificent at the passage) we are 2 and come on terrace at 7:30 pm. we wait half an hour for 2 drinks.We take advantage of it to order 2 meals ( 1 salad, and a skewer) we wait, 45 minutes, 1 hour, 1h15, there I remind the waitress who sends me a waitress who tells me they lost my order. I answer that we are leaving, but it holds us by promising that our meal will be served in less than 10 minutes. we are on weekends, so, we accept, indeed, it returns after less than 10 minutes, but with a raw skewer. I asked her to do it, so I'll give her back and ask her to take her ba...
at the carillonades festival we stopped for lunch there. Or almost no alsatian dish...the sauerkraut was out of stock...I was entitled to one being said bouillabaisse it is new the bouillabaisse contains salmon... no rust, no crouton and an unhappy patate and a half...soap of fish at best. expensive for quality. My son on his tin was entitled to a still cold butter (we quickly understood that he had come out of the freezer.) the water carafe even not fresh the very much too expensive for quality...and the frame. We're not going back to it, we regret not being in a mere refrigerator.
from crossing to st amand we go to the big place to find a restaurant, surprise to see that there is no big thing for lunch!!! so we go to the Alsatian brewery that seems welcoming to us. Indeed the reception is nice and the typical decoration! we have taken a sauerkraut, well garnished and correct! no dessert for us, time missed us!!!
beautiful room and varied map with alsatian products. We tested the sauerkraut that's right, but we saw better. on the main square of st amand, there are some restaurants. we went to the Alsatian brewery for lunch. the room was far from full, but the service was endless (the order was two tagliatelles dishes). So long that we gave up on a dessert or a coffee, and it's more expensive.We'll never come back.
When you arrive in an empty restaurant to eat while it is 11:45 am, you are dryly answered that it is not the time without offering you to wait by taking an aperitif! What a professionalism!!!!We left!!!!
