La Brasserie du Port

The title says everything, okay, but nothing special. The restaurant is a small number in a development at the Hourtin end of the lake. It seems to be for the tourists who stay close to the hotels and campsites and therefore... something from a captive audience. The menu was quite inconspicuous and the meals were all quite average. The staff were all friendly and helpful, but were usually dressed as if they had come directly from school/from the beach. In the evening we visited a country and a western group that played quite loudly in the restaurant. We found better restaurants in Hourtin from the lake and would suggest the first to try.

We booked a table here and a fantastic dinner! The salads were excellent as the special plates of seafood. I had a duck dish that was great. Service was fast and attentive and the cook came out to check everything well. We... highly recommend. It is quickly filled out so that the booking is rewarding!

This restaurant which has a young and dynamic crew serves really good fish and seafood platters! It is affordable and has a good wine list. It is pretty crowded at all times and is to be reserved in advance. The service is fast, friendly and...professional! Recommendation number 1 on Hourtin port!

Excellent value for money, friendly service, dogs welcome even served first! Three visits, nine excellent meals, a good choice. Beautiful location with views of the boats in the sunset. Nice!

Nice restaurant, good food, not too expensive. Fills quickly so reservation or early arrival recommended.
