We made this reservation because every other restaurant we wanted to visit were closed Mondays and Tuesdays. This was a typical restaurant hotel. Food OK but nothing to ‘write home about’. I ordered a steak and requested it to be well-done, as I know the Spanish serve meat rare. My steak arrived pink, so I requested it to be cooked some more. When my steak returned, my plate had ‘lost’ all the lovely potatoes that had been there when the meal was first served. My wife ordered the Hake, which was also disappointing, with a soup-like bland sauce. Overall, a very disappointing evening.
We were forced to have the testing menu at 80€ because it was a holiday. It was stated in their website but not in the fork, of course, where I made the reservation. The quality of the food was not even close to an 80€ menu. Clearly not a place to go again, specially if you know San Sebastián where you can find places much better and at half the price. Service and ambience was good, that is all, but for sure this place is now in our black list…

Overpriced and disappointing. Food was pretty bland and service was strange too. Several waiting staff always hovering but seemed unsure whether they should or shouldn't top up wine and water. Great location but disappointing food and service.
