Found this restaurant thanks to Sabine, the receptionist at Ibis Styles Ouistreheim. Ignore the tourist traps around the ferry port and head up into the town to find a number of decent places to eat. La Breche is well beyond 'decent', offering fresh ingredients prepared by a chef who clearly knows what he is doing. Add friendly and informative service and a decent wine list and you hvae either a great start or, as in our case, a nice finale to your holiday. Highly recommended. (Booking advisable in high season)
Jamais déçue de mon passage ans ces lieux. Cassolette de ris de veau en entrée, une merveille rarement cuisinée en restaurant et en plat une dorade à la provençale avec des légumes cuits à la perfection. On y découvre toujours des goûts qu'on avait pas encore imaginés. Et tout ça pour un prix très correct avec une assiette bien garnies, on en resort rassasiés :) Merci à l'équipe pour ce moment de délices. Je recommande encore et encore.
We discovered that on our overnight Brittany Ferry, the restaurant would be closed, so we decided to eat near the ferry terminal. We found this restaurant on Tripadvisor and it was a perfect choice. The food was delicious - a great way to end our stay in France, the service was efficient and friendly. The restaurant was only about 12 minutes walk away from the ferry. Would definitely go there again if the need arose.
Eat here early July 17 with friends, nice place, good atmosphere, great food , very French , had the set meal so chose outside my comfort zone, but every course was very good, excellent wine by the glass as well, We booked online and arrived a little early but no problems, the table was ready. We had none of the problems other reviews commented on, would return next time we are in the area.

Nous avons choisi ce restaurant un peu par hasard, il est dans la rue principale mais un peu éloigné de la foule, on peut déjeuner en terrasse au calme.Il n'y a pas de table à langer mais le personnel est sympa et baby friendly, ils ont fait en sorte que tout soit confortable pour nous et pour notre bébé.Les repas étaient très bons, à un prix raisonnable, rapide et efficace.
Het menu van de dag was verrassend goed, lekker en mooi gepresenteerd.Wij kozen voor een perfect gebakken stuk tonijn als voorgerecht en een lekker stuk kabeljauw als hoofdgerecht. Een echte aanrader;Met een fles Muscadet en dit alles vriendelijk bediend was dit een geslaagd begin van de vakantie!
Les plats sont frais et préparés à la commande. Toutefois, quelques points négatifs : manque de saveur de la sauce du magret de canard et les tranches trop épaisses, l'accueil est un peu froid au premier abord. La prestation globale est satisfaisante sans être exceptionnelle.
Très bonne cuisine française raffinée. Produits de qualité.Accueil et service parfaits.Nous y avons diné à deux le 25/07/2017 et avons passé une bonne soirée.
