The eggplant parmesan was excellent. We don't usually get this level of texture/taste with the eggplants. The waiter recommended the calamari, and this was spot on. Different - not the heavily battered mix that you usually get, but delicately battered rings with a light sort of tomato based sauce dusted on top. I think this may have been the best calamari I've had. The calabrese salad and insalata brezza was OK, but the breads were excellent. The linguini mediterranean was very nice and the jumbo shrimp cooked well. Juicy and succulent. The salmon special plate was nice although the salmon filet could have used a touch more seasoning. We have heard about the Brezza but never had the chance finally went over to try.It was a great surprise the waiter was very helpful and good.Since it was our first time he recommended a few plates and we decided to let him choose our whole meal which he gladly did and had some great choice for each of us a different plate so we could try has many plates as possible.Definitely a place you should try, it is a small place I believe it is better to reserve we did not have reservation and a few more did not either but it did fill up. So better reserve.Great food
We took my sister here for dinner, as she enjoys Italian food. We started with the calamari, which is lightly dusted ( not breaded) and very tasty.My wife had a chicken dish with prawns in a Rose sauce. My sister had the lemon veal. Both were very tasty. I tried the canelloni (which I never order anywhere) because our waiter said that it was a great dish. He was right. The flavour in this simple dish is superb.We finished off the evening by sharing a tiramisu which was also delicious.The service was excellent.We will definitely be back here regularly.
We had been away from Calgary for a while and returned with a yearning for a good veal piccata. A look at other Italian restaurant menus showed that it had apparently gone out of style. However La Brezza delivered in spades. Calamari starter was also really yummy. The place was a little noisy but I guess that is to be expected on a weekend evening. We highly recommend this place.

My friend and I went for dinner and loved it! We got the carbonara and some kind of spicy spaghetti. Both were amazing! The service was excellent. It is in a funky house, but don't let that scare you because it is seriously so good!
We have been enjoying this wonderful family restaurant for over 25 years. Excellent Italian Food at a reasonable price. Fresh Fresh Fresh! Highly recommend this gem in Bridgeland neighbourhood. You will not be disappointed.
The boys and I were craving Italian food last Thursday, so we decided to drop in (without making dinner reservations like we usually do).
Always quality food and great service. Great place to go for a special occasion or just for an evening out with friends or family.
