We really enjoyed our experience at this restaurant. The host was friendly and attentive, and we appreciated that they provided fresh, cold water for free. I ordered the 405 and the Elote, both of which were delicious. The portions were generous, and I ended up sharing the Elote with my dining companion. The sandwich was also a good size and could have been shared. I look forward to returning to try more dishes as the BBQ here is tasty and the ambiance, with music and the aroma of meat, is enjoyable. Updated Review: Suzanne's prompt response to our situation has renewed our appreciation for this establishment. I was heard and all was corrected. Huge thank you for acknowledging our issue. Original 1 star review: Not only did I drive from OC to the Chinatown location an hour to find out they don't accept gift cards there, but I had to drive to Artesia to find out they are not honoring gift cards there either! This restaurant is stealing money from customers and should be held accountable. The manager Theresa was only going to give me $50 of the $175 value of the cards and acknowledged that even though California law requires that they honor the gift cards, she was not going to honor them....
This restaurant is highly overrated. The brisket was decent, but paying almost $16 for a sandwich that is only 4 inches long is outrageous. The portion size was comparable to a mini sandwich for kids at TOGOs. I will not be returning. It feels like a complete ripoff. Rating: Food 1, Service 4, Atmosphere 5.
The brisket is okay, but their sandwiches are not as satisfying since you have to request all condiments separately. I recently tried the 405 sandwich at this restaurant and it was incredible! It is filled with so many delicious flavors that will have you craving more. I suggest dipping it in your favorite sauce - I chose BBQ and it was perfect. This place never fails to impress!
I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The brisket I ordered was extremely dry and lacked any flavor. They only offer one type of BBQ sauce, which tasted more like hot sauce in my opinion.
The food at this restaurant is excellent. There were a few awkward moments with the staff, but I would still recommend this place. I would rate the food a 5, the service a 3, and the atmosphere a 3.

The food is just ok and portions are too small the serving was good but the ambiance is smoky I don't how people eat or work under those conditions.
