A wonderful welcome today from Caroline (the daughter of the proprietors) to this fantastic restaurant in the centre of town. The food was wonderful, the decor beautiful and traditional, the atmosphere friendly and welcoming. We were blown over by how good this place is, and it fully deserves its place as the number one restaurant in Calais. The prices surprisingly reasonable for such a great experience. We will back again very soon. Highly recommended.
We'd intended to find somewhere for a quick meal as we had some distance to travel, but were seduced by this delightful restaurant. The food was delicious and artistically presented, and the charming decor and helpful service all added to the ambience. We'll certainly make a note of it for next time as it made a really good start to our time in France thank you!
We have had a wonderful 8 night holiday in western France, but dinner at La Buissonniere (sadly on the way back to England) was the food highlight. Amazing menu, really tasty, everything was presented beautifully and incredibly friendly service. We would recommend to everyone dining in Calais and will definitely return.
A gem in Calais, have not visited in 15 years but still as good as I remember it. Food and service are excellent, the set menus are great value.
