La Cabaña - Tisch resevieren

A selfie today with my friend Miguel, owner of the La Cabana Mexican Restaurant in Newton. Pam and I have eaten at La Cabana since they first opened about 25 years ago. The Chili Colorado has always been my favorite, however, due to having gout and needing to watch my diet beef is no longer an option for me. I don't know why in the past I never thought of having chicken instead of beef with my colorado but that's changed forever now. If you like a little, maybe a bit more than than a little spicy, this dish is made for you. Nice spice heat without going overboard, along with a wonderful flavor, the chicken is incredibly tender and delicious, the mexican rice is great by itself or as I prefer...

The food was disappointing, and we both had upset stomachs throughout the night. My chicken was quite dry. The service was decent, and the restaurant has a nice ambiance. Overall, I'd rate the food a 1, the service a 3, and the atmosphere a 3.
