Lunch here a couple of days ago. Horrible weather outside ensued but greetings, service and experience of this place were all positive. We had tried a couple of other places but they were closed so we just happened upon La Cabana and are very pleased we did. Menú del Día x 2 and a couple of drinks each €44 total. Crab salad starter and pate, French fries with the Hake and fatter chips with the pork both fantastic. Food really good and Baileys dessert especially recommended. We will be back!
First visit didn't make a reservation but managed to fit us in. Melt in the mouth Ribeye Steak. Chilli to perfection and a 5* burger review from our son. Argentinian Malbec to go with the meal paired beautifully. Second visit we did book and the meal did not disappoint. 100% recommend, but be sure to make a reservation. Came here for lunch, I had the menu del dia and had a lovely starter which was scrambled egg and black pudding, very nice and one of my party who doesn’t like black pudding had a try and was converted. Very classy looking place,front of house (george? was very attentive to us and all the other diners. Food very good quality and cooked well. Definitely a return visit next time we are on the playa. The food was small portions, and patatas fritas are frozen unfortunately. The service was very slow the food took an hour from ordering to arrive. A superb location right opposite the sea. The staff were very attentive and the food was outstanding. Would highly recommend and I will be sure to dine there again when next in Mojacar.
