La Cabane - Tisch resevieren

A lucky find near the port, we had a great family meal at La Cabane. Even though the city was very busy with a music festival we were welcomed into the restaurant. The staff didn't speak English so we butchered our way through the meal with our school French skills. The decor is nautical and a little rustic, creating the right atmosphere for a waterside location. The staff were friendly and attentive without being over bearing. Families were very welcome with several local families enjoying their meals. The house Red was very good and they stock the local Beer Ch'ti. Our food was lovely including Moules Marinere and Moules in Pepercorn Sauce, which worked very well. The speciality was Poutin...

What a great discovery that this restaurant that does not pay a mine from outside. Welcome. exterior decoration more than summary and less practical (map on slate even laid the floor) but the interior is well maintained, lack of air conditioning for heavy heat days. After a septic start, I discovered a house kitchen with fresh and local products, a super efficient room/terrace management and always available despite a complete restaurant, it really ensures! each meal taken on site was a pleasure with a bonus point for the sauces that accompany the dishes (especially keep your cook/saucer). simplicity that rhymes with quality! fresh seafood (moules, shrimp) are sublimated with great effort on...

I could have bought a meat plate in a supermarket. The moodle was good, the mussels too, but the sauce was said to the meter, had no taste. A friendly service!
