While visiting family (several hundred km away), and for friends for New Year's Eve, I bought 15 dozen oysters. After Christmas, and 2 gastro, I brought 4 dozen to friends for New Year's who didn't want to eat them (normal, given the alerts). So, I told myself that I was going to bring back the unopened package to get a voucher when there were no more bacteria in the pool. Unfortunately, the phone call was not very inclined towards the voucher. Apparently we only had 48 hours to bring back the oysters! It's true that I would have had to travel 1300 km for a round trip to bring everything back on time! Thank you for telling me that you only thought about money and not about helping others. Yo...
I was very ill at Christmas in the context of a general health problem affecting the shellfish of the Basin. This cabin is very well located but was not correct: Oysters are sold to take away until the last minute, in this pre-ban and dangerous context. After the ban, the oysters must be thrown away (in the wild) they are neither taken back nor reimbursed by the cabin. I observed that the person on the phone was lying about their sales hours and neighbors' openings. She accuses you of lying about it. I admit I didn't understand why she called me a liar. This is my experience, probably a bad day. I understand that it’s hard for oyster farmers at the end of the year. Good luck to them.
We ordered two platters of oysters for Christmas Eve. I stayed in bed for a week. Thank you to this establishment for selling me a gastro. And don’t tell me you didn’t know oysters weren’t good!
