Our appetizers arrived within 25 minutes:
- Soufflé with confit onion
- Escargot with chicken mousseline
- Grilled scallops with spinach and crab meat (two servings)
- Veal kidneys with roasted lardons and mushrooms
The appetizers were beautifully presented. My soufflé was fantastic, the large Harvey Bay scallops were incredibly fresh, and the veal kidneys were delicious in their red wine sauce. However, the escargot was disappointingly dry and lacked flavor.
Our main courses followed shortly after we finished the appetizers:
- Grilled coral trout with caramelized fennel
- Seared veal loin with baked apple
- Grilled eye fillet with cognac cream sauce
