This location next to Cinema Guzzo also known as Spheretech location has been recently renovated and reopened a month or two ago. Actually; they basically gutted the dated interior and brought it up to date with new tv's, a giant screen (multi view screen) at the bar area and a huge multi view capable screen at the other end of the main floor. Both are fantastic. Other quality tv screens are located throughout the bar/resto. All screens are top hd quality. I would have liked to see all the screens along the walls to be larger. Not as large as the giant tv walls as mentioned earlier, just larger would be better. The video wall at the end wall where the bar is is as mentioned excellent to watc...
We were a group of 7 looking for a good, decently priced lunch and we got just that. Although the service was very slow, I know we were in between two shifts so I can forgive that. We wanted to try the new menu. We were all satisfied with the food taste and quality. I had not been in any Cages in many, many years because I had bad, if not terrible experiences. Now I won't be shy to pay them another visit and who knows? Maybe the will regain some stars in my book. Overall, I recommend to try the place.
We went there for a beer and the atmosphere was nice. Although no reservation made we got a nice place at a table with good elevated view.Large menu of beer and other drinks, pricing not cheap but worthwhile.Service was ok, here and there we needed to make prominent signs to attract notice but it was busy this day.The food we saw looked nice and there was also fresh popcorn available.Nice place for relaxing and watching television for a match of icehockey. Would go there again if around.
We decided to take our fifteen year old girls soccer team here for a team dinner and we quite happy with the property. We were greeted promptly on arrival and seated upstairs. The facility was easily able to accommodate our group and our servers were very attentive. Our food and drinks arrived quickly and tasted good. The prices were fair and the overall experience was quite enjoyable. I would definitely return here again if I had the opportunity.

When I travel I love to get local fare and fine dining, but sometimes, after a long day of work, I just want a simple burger and a beer, somewhere that I can go in jeans and a t-shirt, and La Cage Brasserie Sportive was perfect. Lots of TVs with sports and other shows, a good beer list, and the bar/comfort food you need after a long day at the office. It is close to Dorval airport and some hotels, so it's a good option when working in Montreal.

You will love the environment it's full of energy.The staff there is nice.They play good music to go with your drinks but unfortunately the food there is bad like bad bad....presentation is nice but you palates need to like it too which it fails to do so...and that's what I observed there most of the people were just eating less then half of their food.If you want to go,go for some drinks.
We were in Montreal during the Olympics and I was very keen on also watching some sporting events while dinning out. The food was excellent. I had the spaghetti with bolognese and my friend had the pulled pork nachos. The nacho's were huge, and the pasta was delicious. Staff was friendly and came by regularly. Would go again the next time I am in Montreal.

This is a great place for a meal while you watch the game. The food was always good and service was great. Sometimes noisy, but that's to be expected when watching the game.
