I was a bit hesitant to come here after reading all the bad reviews. But I have been here 3 times now. First time only for a coffee and their Devine Nutella pizza (nothing wrong with the service here). Second time for the gnocchi and some garlic bread (nothing wrong with the service here either). The gnocchi were indeed quite plain and boring though. The third time i went with a bigger group and we ordered a lot of food, which all tasted great! We shared the Hawaii pizza, pumpkin ravioli and some starters, and some of us were impressed with the crab pasta. As a dessert we had the Nutella pizza again. Again, the service was very friendly. Lovely time with friends , dinner booking for 1930 arrived 1915 table for 4 ready and waiting. <br/ It was very busy and reasonably loud. <br/ I likes the way when you booked it said you could not choose the position of your seating. <br/ Lady at reception smiles and takes us to the table. <br/ <br/ Very prompt service thru out the whole meal. <br/ Smallish table for 4 people dishes and clutter taken quickly. <br/ Meals everyone happy with meal provided <br/ <br/ Waiters oh so lovely all Italian and fun. The venue, menu choices, food and drink were all excellent but the service was haphazard. Seemed as if staff didn't have a particular area to look after? Didn't get asked if we wanted drinks when we arrived. No dessert menu offered long after we'd finished mains in the end I went hunting around for a menu myself and didn't get asked what I was doing poking around the service station! Perhaps they were short staffed that night? The care factor seemed pretty low however I would return as the food was delish.
Came here for dinner on a Monday. We arrived early (around 5.30) so our food came out very quickly and the staff were very friendly. We had octopus tentacle, grilled seafood, green vegetable, roasted potatoes and kids Hawaiian pizza. Everything tasted pretty good, the octopus and seafood were very tender, the pickled vegetables was just a little too sour for my liking. I'm not sure why this restaurant has a low star rating (it kept us from visiting in the past), but we had an incredible Saturday night experience. The menu and drink selection were impressive, the table service was spot on, and the food was absolutely amazing! From the fondue to the lamb rump, the salmon, and the pizza, everything we tried was flawless. It was definitely money well spent. Thank you!
Best Italian I have had for a while and served in a spectacular beach front property with friendly service. Had the aranchini to start, three different flavours all vey good. Had the venison and bush tomato linguine for main and this was amazing, full of flavour and nice and fresh, only negative is the portion could be bigger!
We booked on a Monday night thinking that the restaurant would not be too busy and walked in at 7.00pm to find it was packed .Our food arrived very quickly .The vegetarian pizza was the best I have ever had .The scenery from the veranda was spectacular with views of one of Australia’s best beaches .Will return !
Came here for dinner on a Wednesday evening. Service was excellent friendly, informative had some character! The atmosphere was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the portion sizes were just right. The selection of drinks was also impressive. I can't wait to come back and catch the sunset!
