La Carpe d'Or is a nice restaurant close to the ponds between Palluel and Ecourt Saint Quentin. A very good address for a stop: The family kitchen is of very good quality, the service is very pleasant. The small flat would be the passage through the coffee to access the restaurant. This environment would deserve to be completely revisited. The music was to our taste too present and too typified to accompany this good meal. One last detail: The dessert map is for us a little long and too focused on ice. The whole, however, is very much worth the detour, especially since the corner is not full of good addresses ...
This restaurant in the middle of the countryside between Ecourt and Palluel does not pay a mine. Nevertheless from the entrance you are greeted by the boss and you will find yourself in a restaurant as there is still little. A large room with a very large chimney lit, giving a warm atmosphere. What to say of the meal: amuse mouth to make patient, an entrance (smoked salmon worked on site, idem for the foie gras) resistance dish and dessert (greasy coffee) all for 27 Euros. Excellent food, well presented. Unfortunately this establishment is only open on Sundays. Have time in this restaurant to have a good time.
Very disappointed this year, I have tried for 15 days, I send an email, and a message of messenger to order for the holidays, the phone rings strange, fax-ringtone..., and no one answers to messages... But in 2021, we were very satisfied, it's a shame, especially since on the site is noticed open what's going on???
Out of the small village of Ecourt Saint Quentin, you will discover this charming little restaurant. Very good reception, family setting. Accessible menus. Very good homemade salmon! We'll be back!
