I was visiting from Ohio for the Smoke on the River event that weekend, and I have to say, the Lounge was incredible! I loved the outdoor patio, and the indoor lounge was also great, though it was quite crowded. They had a DJ playing outside, and while he had some popular tracks, the music selection was a bit too random for my taste. If you're in Detroit, definitely check this place out—you won't regret it! Just a heads up, they don't serve food, which disappointed a few friends in my group, but luckily they had already eaten before arriving. La Casa has a fantastic vibe. You should definitely go here!
This is a lovely cigar bar with a great selection. However, I had some trouble getting a drink efficiently; I waited almost 20 minutes at the bar and had to ask the gentleman next to me to grab a waiter for me. I thought having a man around might help speed things up, and it did. Despite the slow service, I would definitely return because I enjoy the location and atmosphere. I've been coming here on and off for over 10 years, and I appreciate the grown-up, sophisticated vibe—there are no young kids, which is a plus. Cheers!
This was my first time visiting a cigar lounge, and it was a wonderful experience! My friend from high school, who is in town from Australia, joined me, and we were able to catch up with some of our other classmates and friends. The lounge had a fantastic atmosphere that made for a truly relaxing and enjoyable time. I will definitely be returning to this establishment in the future!
