We have been coming to this place almost every day while skiing in Val d’Isere with the kids. Comfortable, quick and reasonably priced self-service, with good choices of comfort food for a midday pause. Nice views if you are seating outside, with good options inside as well if the weather is cold.
This mountain restaurant is out of the main routes so is cheaper food and the food is alright. If you have a large group to feed at lunchtime while skiing then you may consider a stop here but not your typical French cuisine.
Recommended this place by locals, had been before, always good, and not expensive by local standards, nice terrace to sit in the sun though you have to time it right or you will be waiting for a while as it gets very busy.

Our favourite lunch stop at Val d'Isere/Tignes! It is in a beautiful place, and the food is authentic and good. There is usually a table free and the welcome is warm. Just love it!
Super affordable trail. count on a dish of the day generously served or for a large part of pizza and salad. Very personal. it is the best quality restaurant of quality vtt.
