What a terrible place to eat, staff didn 't wanna know coz we are English, food was so so bad, the Lasagne was cheese sauce over pasta, tasteless, a number of tapas were ordered, all of which were disgusting, we asked them to just take them away as they were horrible, she simply just nodded and took them. I had salad with the great rib it was tough and raw, pork was so undercooked, i sent it back...nothing came up together as a meal, the girls who work there really need to have a shake up on there customer skills, oh unless you are Spanish then the smiles come out.! Went to this restaurant last night and had a terrible experience. The staff are less than interested in the customers. Ordered water to start which arrived not cold and no ice in the glasses. had to ask for ice and one cube in each glass arrived, Ordered a starter of chicken wings which when they arrived were obviously reheated then doused with a BBQ sauce and placed in a microwave. The sauce was hot but the inside of the wings cold and horrible so needless to say we did not eat them. We called the waitress and told her to take them away. The service was terrible as the staff were less than interested in looking after you. The main course steak was ok but the overall experience was a bad one...
We have been coming to La Casita for the last 20 years, we have always had lovely tapas to eat inside or take away. We visited there today (after being away for a few months asked for tapas and was told they don't do tapas only raciones, so we ordered raciones which were far too large so we asked to take away, we were given a box and told to put it in ourselves with no utensils to do it with. The waitress was not very helpful, the raciones we very nice but expensive for what they were. What a shame, we used to love their tapas and meals but I'm afraid after our experience today I don't think we will go back.
I would regard this as more of a cafe than a restaurant and have rates against that criteria. We were staying local and wanted some lunch before heading to the airport, our friends took us here as they use it. The appearance in terms of seating area is basic but the tapas is ready at the counter so it is easy to see what is on offer and order accordingly. Nice area outside. Food was of a decent standard and good portion size. Reasonably priced. So 4/5 as a cafe, maybe not 3/5 if you thought you were going to a restaurant.
My husband I have visited many times for tapas as there is a varied selection. We have only had one evening meal here, which was a pizza. We opted for 1 each of the smallest size, which was too much for me, but very tasty. It is not what I would call a restaurant more of a cafe but very clean, friendly has recently been renovated to seat more people inside. Seems very popular with the Spanish, which is lovely mixing under one roof. Would definitely visit again either for lunch or dinner!
Called in for tapas. I ordered a chicken dish and a seafood salad. All that was edible in the chicken dish was a couple of small bits of chicken, the rest of it was chicken neck and slimy skin. The seafood salad consisted of crab sticks and boiled egg in mayonnaise! Will not be returning any time soon.
The girls behind the bar hate the English. They served every new Spanish visitor before us as a couple. We waited politely at the bar for tapas. Ignored even when asked to be served. We are a gay couple we think it was a UK racist and homophobic approach. We will never return to this place.
Food was disgusting. Calamari and childrens chicken nuggets were inedible. I don't even know what the nuggets were made of, definitely not chicken. Staff weren't interested when they saw our plates of uneaten food and I tried to complain. Very bad experience!
Had pork solomillo which was dry Vegetables were cold and I have a pepper allergy. Still had the peppers on the plate even though I asked for none. Very disappointed.
