I fell in love with Salvadorian Pupusas empanadas working in Miami and have been craving them for the past two years. Now I have found my go to in Waipahu at La Casita. Fresh and hot empanadas Pupusas off the grill daily and they are delicious ? Go see Jocelyn at La Casita if you crave some homemade and tasty Salvadorian food. ?
The food at this restaurant is delicious, the place is clean, and the service is quick and friendly! I highly recommend it. Make sure to try their pupusas, taquitos, empanadas, and tacos. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to take a good picture of the food because it disappeared so quickly.
In terms of dedication, freshness of food, and quality-this place beats a lot of others on island!A bit pricey for the pupusas. For $4, they should include two that are a tad bigger than the current size. I understand everyone's trying to make it on this expensive island.

from san diego I have often tried to find the medium American food on oahu that meet my standards. I thought the pupusas, horchata and red salsa were great. I'll be back in a moment.
