We are at present renting a house about 5 mn away from this restaurant in Belgentier .Our host recommended this place .Last Sunday we popped in to see if , being Sunday , they would be open that evening so we could book for dinner .As we walked towards the restaurant , a man that appeared to be drunk informed us , after we enquiried , that the restaurant was closed tonight as they had a very busy lunch service !We thought that was a bit strange , as was his demeanour , but left . We popped in again yesterday evening ,Tuesday , and were greated again by the same male , who appeared to be even more intoxicated than the first time as he could barely speak ,and told us the same thing ie that the...
We joined a large of family and friends group celebrating at La Cerisaie. The atmosphere was classic an ancient building enclosed by mature trees next to a river with a small rivulet running by the side of restaurant area. We had drinks and nibbles outside before eating inside with the open windows along the long axis of the room. The food was just right for the event, including duck and beef, a Norwegian pudding (hot and cold) and a pleasant lemoncello sorbet. There was plenty of parking, though the entrance is quite sharp on a windy road. I understand from the owner that she may stop doing the larger events in a couple of years. Family restaurant run by old lady who is also the chef. Wild boar stew, anchoïade. Salmon en croute. We go every so often especially Christmas dinner. Its packed with good reason.best bang for the buck in the regeion. they do lots of weddings too

Been a few times lunches Christmas diners a local place. Good value. They do a very good wild boar stew and the anchoiade is to die for. It's a very popular wedding venue too.
We celebrated the 60 years of my spouse in this wonderful place with adorable owners. An idyllic frame and a lot of space. I recommend no problem
