I was visiting a friend in Aix who is vegetarian and coeliac, she'd heard about this place and really wanted to go as they cater for everyone. She was excited as she had heard positive things, so I was also happy to go.I thought the whole experience was quite tragic. We'd reserved a table for 9, but it wasn't ready until half past. We were then sat down in a rush as the owner/chef/waiter had other tables to deal with. We were left with glasses, but no water and no menu. There was only one chalkboard menu making the rounds, so the owner would leave it with one table, get them wine, take their order and bring out their food before showing the menu to another table. Well-known to the locals, this tiny restaurant's "patron" is the chef and waiter combined, and despite being full most evenings, he has no intention to expand. Instead, he sources his produce locally (all organic), and it is cooked with passion. So, instead of the usual restaurant food - which is generally of a high standard in Aix - here you get a superior meal of home-style cooking of the highest standard. All in the most convivial atmosphere. Very highly recommended. Reserve in advance if you can.

Loved the food and experience here! I'm a vegetarian and the boyfriend is not so both of us were accommodated well here. Plenty of options for us both. Recommend making a reservation before going, it's a small space and the chef does everything

This small restaurant is incredible! The owner does everything. I order lamb, I ❤️it! Everything was delicious! The coffee with desert samples was pretty good! I recommend!

If you decide to travel to Aix (which u should), make sure to stop by at this incredible restaurant. It's a culinary experience u won't forget!
