We were at Sallanches for trekking and mountaineering and found la Charette from trip advisor. We were early but since it was -12 outside we knocked on the door and the owner let us in whilst setting up but also offered drinks whilst we wait...during closing hours. The food was fresh and good, we took specials and the prices can't be beat on the set menus. A little too rich for me but good none the less. Also, note that the restaurant has a small 5 car space parking lot, if not, there is a public car park just down the hill, but if in winter you might well try the small car park up the hill near the restaurant.
Une cuisine succulentes , des plats raffinés et très bien présentées, (mention spéciale pour le risotto.... divin), un espace épuré mais très convivial, décoration particulièrement réussie. Un service au petit soin et une présence appréciée du chef venu nous parler de sa cuisine avec passion. Très bonne équipe
Excellente soirée passée à la Charette restaurant recommandé par des amis fidèles à ce lieu.Un accueil chaleureux, une carte originale, des assiettes goûteuses, un prix raisonnable. Une mention spéciale pour le chef et la qualité de la cuisson des poissons.Nous reviendrons avec plaisir!
This restaurant visited an overnight stay in Croatia. We found the service friendly, but with little if any English spoken. The food was excellent, though with portions on the small side. Overall a very beautiful experience.

I wasn't sure walking in to this place as the restaurant itself isn't that appealing. The food and service though are great. Price wise, it's average for the area so I highly recommend a visit.
Cadre agréable et reposant,cuisine de qualité avec des produits locaux très bien cuisinés. Accueil chaleureux et convivial je recommande ce restaurant et espère y retourner rapidement
C'est un bon restaurant sur Sallanches, nous avons pris les menus entrée, plat et dessert. Excellent et copieux. Penser à réserver.
Remove food, no authenticity, no taste. I don't understand the reviews at all. The only plus was the polite and smiling waiter.

Waited for a lot of time for my food and it was not worthy. In any case, I do not recommend it. Very dissaponing!
