Roadside restaurant in the small Southwest town of LeDeuix. Recommended by cousins who live about 10 miles away. Blown away by the quality, presentation and deliciousness of the food. Took the 30 Euro menu. Started with a hearty bowl of garbure (just like my grandmother used to make). Full of flavor and oh so fresh. Followed by escargots. I expected escargot in filo dough but instead received this beautiful dish of escargots with filo leaves wonderful garlic parsley butter and little garnishes of sweet pepper mousse. Incredible.
