La Renaissance is my family's favorite restaurant in L'Isle Sur La Sorgue. We eat there every time we visit, which is about six times each year. The owners are extremely friendly and the food is wonderful. We especially like to eat on the lovely terrace which is alongside the River Sorgue and is open during the warmer months (there are about a dozen tables that fit in this space, which is covered by a large awning). We especially love the special that includes salad, soup of the day and a piece of quiche (may be called something other than quiche). we stumbled over la chope while we look for somewhere to lunch in theuleflit with our little children. After we had suffered a terrible service in our first choice of restaurants and were told for the parking lot of our bikes outside, we were pleasantly surprised when the people in La...Chope made space for our bikes and welcomed us and our children. the set menu is a good value and eating is simple and tasty. we fought to finish everything, but we did it! the beer was also delicious. beautiful location directly on the main road. recommended for a beer or lunch.
This is a restaurant where you feel good. There is a choice, the tables set up by the stream are very pleasant and above all the staff (both the owner and the waiter) are extremely friendly (and funny) which is quite rare these days. The only problem I would say are the toilets....without paper and not very clean but too bad, we don 't pay much attention to it thanks to the rest.!! I recommend this restaurant having come and returned several years apart! Little advice: Remember to book!!
Simple but there is an idea! It’s a shame that the products used are not of good quality for the mixed salads (tasteless tomatoes, supermarket goat cheese log, parmesan, grilled chicken, etc. . Keep it simple but put good products on our plates please!!! The tapenade offered as an aperitif was not bad for example
