We decided to eat at the hotel we were staying for convenience - but also because it appeared quite some restaurants were closed on Monday. We were not disappointed. The restaurant was almost full. The special started (slice of pie with salad) was very tasteful and the filet de Boeuf was prepared as expected. Prices were reasonable for what you were getting.
It looked like it was the only place that was opened. The service was warm and although they speak English, they tried very hard to communicate with us. Great effort. We had a menu and the lamb with Munster cheese. The dishes were well prepared... but can improve on the fineness of the dishes. A very satisfactory meal here. Can recommend it at Munster.

We had a starter salad with warm Munster cheese on bread, a main course plate of choucroute with 5 different slices of pork meat and a tarte flambée with Munster cheese, accompanied by a wheat beer and a local red wine. All very recommendable dishes...
We loved our lunch here. The Alsacian specialties and extensive wine list were complemented by friendly, welcoming staff. We had terrine lapin with crudités and the excellent Alsace fillet steak with frites. We'd certainly eat there again Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Lovely bar on corner facing market and abbey ruins with the stork nests high above. Good for coffees and drinks and tarte flambes. However evening meal there was very disappointing with poor service and not very tasty.

Altough the hotel itself is very nice - the food served at the restaurant has not met our expectations. Rather expensive, average food is served. There's plenty of better options for good local cuisine in Munster.

Not the largest bed and pretty bad Wi-Fi network availability around the hotel. Very friendly and charming staff. Ideally located in the city of Munster (mid market)
