With so many good restaurants that we visited this week in Old Estepona and the high ratings and relatively high price, we expected that this restaurant would have been one of the best of our visit. It wasn't. Not to say it was bad, but the food was disappointing, and the service started a bit of curt and unwilling, but warmed up like the night went. With all the great opportunities I have available, I really can't recommend eating here, and I was really hoping I could. It was only average.
Superb quality, with great service. We had three starters as this was a light lunch visit, we ordered prawn Pil Pil but they had no prawns (shows they have fresh food) we were asked if we liked Pil Pil and they said they could substitute cod for the prawns which they did and it was lovely.i would recommend this place and we will go again.
Great new place for a meal or tapas with family and friends. Situated in the heart of the Centro Histórico, a stone's throw from the Remedios Church and just round the corner from the Plaza Manuel Alcántara, the choice of items, and the quality, make this a place to come back to, time and time again!
Stumbled upon this typical Spanish based restaurant whist waiting for The Thursday Holy Week procession, through the streets. Apart from not advising “no pasta” we had a very tasty meal and enjoyed the cordial service and atmosphere. Seek it out old town Estepona. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
My first visit won’t be the last. Amazing ambience, delicious food and outstanding service. For a newly opened restaurant the management have done amazing and I’m sure it will only get better. I can recommend the steak, it was the best I’ve tasted in Estepona.
La cocina is a lovely restaurant in the town centre. The food is great, fresh and homemade typical tapas and the service is excellent. They also have really good wine. I really recommend it. You will want to go back again. I know I will!!
Just ok food simple but good menu and nice and friendly service. The food seems to be mostly authentic Spanish.
