I've been CRAVING real Mexican food for months as I spent the 6 years before moving to France living in California. I've tried so many place in Bordeaux and Paris only to be disappointed. UNTIL La Copa Rota. The food is seriously legit and as good as what you can get in California. Tortillas are made fresh and their tostadas are pretty much on par with ones I've gotten when visiting Central America. On top of that the owners are friendly and hilarious. Would go back every week if I could .
Such a pleasant experience!! I discovered this charming restaurant located in a small alley in the middle of the Chartrons. Everything was beautiful, from the welcome of Claudia who was in the cares with us throughout the evening, to the Margaritas who are the best I’ve ever had. Went here today to get some real Mexican tacos guacamole and was not disappointed. I am from The western United States, and this place had just as good of tacos as I can get locally in my hometown or even Santa Fe. Super authentic, super delicious. The staff was friendly and very helpful. If you need a Mexican food fix while in Bordeaux, this is your spot!
