La cosecha Parrillada

With my date in this restaurant the service was friendly and excellent. This was still before the nephews of my date arrived, one of which was an employee in the restaurant, at which time the service was only better than the red carpet was probably rolled out. Fortunately for other diners this is of little concern, as later in the middle of the evening week, and there were few other diners at the time. In my opinion, the food was excellent and the part was unexpectedly large. I would recommend this restaurant to any traveler who drives to Popayan. It is a block from the main parking lot in Ciudad Antiguo.

The atmosphere was very relaxed and the waiting staff was attentive and helpful for my limited Spanish. There were four of us and we all chose different meals. The portions were very generous and everyone enjoyed their meals, although we couldn't finish them. The cocktails were very good. If you are not a big eater, you can easily share a dish. The price was very reasonable.

All locals told us that this was the best place in town. We had a romantic corner table from which we watched a procession pass until the week before the Good Friday. Service was ok, price was expensive according to Popayan standards. At 9:00 the place was mostly empty, which seemed strange, but the food was okay. We ordered guacamole that never came.

This is a well-run restaurant. All clean. Kellner schlau. Prompt Service. A clean parilla. English and Spanish menus. Steaks tasty as wet chicken. Night quartet of singers, guitarists and drums. Popular with locals.

One of the restaurants that are open after 20 hours in Popoyan. Good food, a large variety of dishes, good service and a very decent price.
