The locals tell a pithy tale. There are plenty of restaurants here but few Chefs. You start as a bottle washer in April and in June you are a Chef . Our experience here confirms that Statement. We arrived to this empty restaurant on opening and still not had are main course served within 90 minutes. Two other couples arrived, one left after 15 minutes. My partner 's sole was cold when eventually service and had to go back to be micro waved. No service , no atmosphere. No clients. The locals must know something!
The menu advertised on the sidewalk and on the tables was not available. The server decided to serve someone else first when our first choice was unavailable. They refused to serve us a 50 cl eau petillant on the ground that it was nor the eight time of day, which is ridiculous. The Limonade we eventually settled for arrived tepid. The service was slow despite us being one of only two parties in the place at about 5:30 pm. The ice cream was good though. But no napkins!
We arrived in this restaurant to have a nice dinner. We ordered a drink from the list, but after some time we were informed that it could not be served. We were suggested another drink instead. When we had ordered the food we waited and waited while the servant was busy with other tables and the dinner took a very long time during which most of it was waiting for the waitress to serve. The staff was too unexperienced to be left alone to serve.
We had lunch here and enjoyed the food. The menu has typical brasserie-style choices, and we can recommend the salads, that are large. The carpacio had too much olive oil however, and we were to.d that the were no more mussles. So a mixed. Feeling. But at the other hand, prices were low (15€ for a salad, 10-18€ for main courses). Notheing special, but price-quality ok.
