La Cremaillere - Tisch reservieren

We were on holiday in Samoens and looking for something a little different to the standard local food which is everywhere. Found la Cremaillere on trip advisor as the menu offered an Asian twist. We had really good sushi and main courses. We were a little disappointed with desserts but believe these change. The strawberry il flottant sounded nice but was too ‘light’ being a poached egg white in a watery strawberry smoothie. It needed something more such as the usual creamy custard. The setting is nice, quite remote down a lane overlooking a small lake and mountain.

In an area famed for its cheese... and its cheesy dishes La Cremallier gives a great alternative menu. The Asian twist on French cuisine means that many tastes can be catered for our mixed family of seven (including teens) all found three courses they were delighted with. The location by the lake in Taninges is beautiful and gives a very relaxed atmosphere.

Really enjoyed our evening meal here, really good food presented with a little bit of flair and imagination, a little bit on the expensive side but nevertheless well done and would recommend.

Open again with a great outdoor terrace, now with heaters! Food was excellent as ever with a great choice of favourites and new dishes. Cafe gourmand for dessert is such a treat.

Third time weve eaten here and food and service never disappoint. Lovely Asian twist to the menu that changes frequently. Cafe gourmand for dessert was perfect.
