This restaurant is in a good position and looks very professional. We ordered moules frites which arrived obviously overcooked. Against our better judgement we accepted the dishes without comment. In the end, my wife left hers entirely. At the time of the bill, we asked for some sort of gesture regarding the poor cooking. This was roundly refused stating that we should have complained earlier and they would have replaced the dishes. You cannot argue with that position but to have it served up so obviously overcooked in the first place was unacceptable. Avoid at all costs.
All the reviews from people who say they have waited a long time, you are on vacation, the fish is not done in 2 minutes, the presentation of the dish is not done in 5 minutes, take your time and relax, so your food can be cooked well and served flawlessly. We ordered oysters, the fish of the day, fish and shrimp appetizer, all fresh, perfectly plated with various combinations of vegetables that were right for the fish. The time to wait is what it is.. We spent our holidays in Royan and had dinner twice at this restaurant. We spent a lovely time and our dogs were allowed to stay with us in the restaurant. The service was great and very kind with us. The first day we had razor shells and two different dishes of duck. The second we shared a dish of shellfish and two steak tartars! Incredible and delicious. Very recommendable! We will come back if we have the chance!
Great house, good we were three in the restaurant. Geste commercial du patron who offered us the bigorneaux. Otherwise fresh and several mayo and accompaniment with oysters. There is no incredible life, but the 2 young servers are dynamic and smiling and the boss plays the game on the little kdo! We'll be back.

Loin du bruit du centre, une très belle découverte. Carte réduite signe de qualité, service impeccable et cuisson des poissons « juste comme il faut » . Un très bon moment. Faites quelques mètres de plus le long du port, visez la grande roue, vous ne le regretterez pas.
Very good lunch with a lunch formula at 19€. Fresh fish steam cooked an idem delight for dessert. Breakfast at the end of the lunch the chef has gone to see each table. We will return with pleasure.
